Hello everyone! Here are some old pix of Honey and the ducks. They say hi!!

New Name, New Animals!!

Hello everybody! Yes, I did change the name. Honey and the ducks are not the best companions though; Honey eats their food whenever possible. But, dogs do love food. She loves teawurst, liverwurst and braunschweiger, too. (So do I.)


 Right now Honey is trying to sleep. The ducks are nestled in the box. Not to mention Cayuga (black pict-
ured above) is  in the feeder.

I GOT DUCKS!! I NEED NAMING SUGGESTIONS!

HURRAY! Four ducks! Pictured below is my White Crested duck, whom Daddy nicknamed 'Friar Duck'. Get it?!

These photos were taken by me the first day I got them, so when I post photos next time, they will be much bigger, because they grow very fast.

This black one is my Cayuga, which were named for Lake Cayuga. They are very beautiful birds: blackish green.

 The yellow one is  the Welsh Harlequin, which are also very beautiful.






Last is my Buff duckling.

I need naming suggestions! They are all girls, so female names. Please comment below!

Honey's Birthday Party Story!

Well, Honey's a one year old, that's for sure! And did she have a wonderful party!

 Honey's birthday party story:

 Honey sat in her bed sleeping soundly. Just then there was a knock at the door and our aunt, the one who had never seen Honey, came in. David jumped on Honey and sat on her. Then Aunt Gery sat down and beckoned to David to let Honey go. Honey ran to her and jumped on her. This went on for about ten more minutes.

Then Daddy came down from his bedroom and Honey's attention was attracted to Daddy.

For a while Honey sat next to Aunt Gery while she had some sandwiches. Then we had the cake. Then Honey was snoring and Aunt Gery and Daddy were watching football. After a while Mommy went to get pizza, and after a few slices of pizza, Aunt Gery went home.

 I had given Honey a giant rope toy for her birthday present.

 But being a chewer, Honey at once chewed up the rope and got the ball off it.

Happy Birthday to Honey!!!!!!!!

Happy first birthday Honey! Her birthday is the 23rd, and her party is tomorrow. Big girl Flabby Labby!

I remember when we were taking Honey home last March. Here's that story when she was seven weeks old.............................................

We stepped into the smelly kennel. The man who painted our house, who breeds Labrador Retrievers and English bulldogs, had  already let the three female yellow Labs loose in the small kennel. There was a sweet little one, who was shaking a lot. The next one was bigger, sweet and calm.
David was holding the third pup. All of a sudden she bit his hand. David could see that she wanted to get down. Then when she was down, she jumped on my mom and scared her. Of course, David decided to get this one.
We had already planned to name the dog Honey--it was the perfect name.
 In the back of the car, with Diana and David, Honey was trying to get comfortable. Walking across our laps about ten million times, she finally settled down in Diana's lap and slept there, once in  a while opening one eye.

 Puppy dogs are naughty! I advise never to get a dog!!
